Her first book for Capstone Press, Heroes of the American Revolution, was a Junior Library Guild Selection. She practiced law for 10 years and has taught writing and constitutional law. She loves to unearth little-known facts and particularly enjoys researching and writing about history and other social studies topics. She lives in Brookings, South Dakota.
