Reviews

School Library Connection - Holly Weimar, Associate Professor, Dept of Library Science, Sam Houston State U

"Over 100 prompts are provided, each correlated to Common Core College and Career Readiness Standards. . . .Prompts include extensions that list additional resources or activities. Most of the pages of the book are dedicated to the prompts, though a list of children’s books referenced, two rubrics, and nine pages of reproducibles are included. This book would support new teachers of language arts or teachers who are looking for a method that will help to strengthen the writing skills of their students." - School Library Connection
