Molly Cochell earned a BA in Elementary Education from Boise State University in 1988 and a Master's Degree in Creative Arts in Education from Lesley University in 2002. She has been teaching pre-K, special education, or kindergarten for the past 28 years. She is an honoree for Special Education Teacher of Year, a trainer for Best Practices in Early Childhood/Special Education, and a two-time Teacher of the Year recipient in the Idaho schools. As a presenter at Arts Powered Schools conferences in Idaho, she has received multiple honors for grant writing and for program implementation for bringing arts into schools. In 2013 the Idaho State Department of Education awarded her work in the arts and technology with two 21st Century Classroom Awards for best practices in education. Molly enjoys being in the great outdoors or creating art with her husband Ted and their children and grandchildren.
