"Dusty or wet, stretchy or soft, matter is all around us. Even air is made of matter! This educational non-fiction picture book for ages five to ten shows and tells how solids, liquids and gases change form. Subtitled "See It, Touch It, Taste It," this subject "Matter" is part of the publisher's "Amazing Science" series along with other new titles about air, motion and temperatures. The simple series is aligned with the curriculum standard "The Living Environment: The Flow of Matter and Energy" as required by the Benchmarks for Science Literacy Project 2061.
