Amanda is surprised to learn that she is a mammal. It must be true. She learns the characteristics of mammals in this fun song paired with beautiful illustrations.
"Following the principles of “best practices” in teaching, the book about Amanda uses the familiar subject to help children learn important facts in understanding mammals. The collaboration of Linda Ayers for content, Kathy Hudson illustrations, and having music arranged and produced by Mark Oblinger combine to offer a book that teaches and engages children. . . .a good choice for individuals, classrooms, or library. It is certainly worth a read, and if you have musical talent, all the better for entertaining the young learner." - NSTA Recommends
