NSTA Recommends - Kelly Chaney, Master Teacher

"The book contains high quality pictures of many lesser known camels and provides information on how to tell the difference between different camels. The pictures of the camel races is especially entertaining. . . .This series would be a great addition to any library and would be of interest to many students in lower elementary who are naturally drawn to this section of the library." - NSTA Recommends

Booklist - Sarah Hunter

"...the close-ups of personable camel faces are very appealing, particularly for emerging readers, who might get more out of browsing pictures than reading the sentences." - Booklist

Allan Morey

Allan Morey

Some of Allan Morey's favorite childhood memories are from the time he spent on a farm in Wisconsin. Everyday he saw cows, chickens, and sheep. He even had a pet pig named Pete. He developed a great appreciation of animals, big and small. Allan currently lives in St Paul with his family and dog, Ty, who keeps him company while he writes children's books.
