Reviews

School Library Connection - Marilyn Teicher, Educational Reviewer, Bronx, NY

"The pictures are large close-ups of the animals in different situations; brightly-colored pages will attract the reader’s attention." - School Library Connection

NSTA Recommends - Cindi Smith-Walters, biology professor

"Do you have young students interested in learning more about African animals and chimpanzees in particular? Do you long for books with clear, bright, colorful pictures instead of drawings or illustrations? Do you want books simple enough for early readers, yet engaging for older elementary students as well? If so, the brand new Awesome African Animals series from Capstone books might be just the ticket for your classroom." - NSTA Recommends
