Booklist - Stephanie Cohen

"This accessible title prioritizes learning, with boldface vocabulary words defined in a footer on the same page, but Gunderson keeps readers interested by providing historical photos, visual models (like that of the three branches of government), and Q&A example boxes embedded in eye-catching, colorful templates. Between the sharp, modern illustration style and the informative content, readers receive unbiased views and definitions of political features, like the major parties." - Booklist
