Ground sloths were enormous, ice age plant eaters with giant claws. Awesome illustrations accompany carefully leveled text about food, habitat, life cycle, and extinction, bringing ground sloths to life like never before.
"STARRED REVIEW! These titles covering Ice Age animals create a great beginner series. The illustrations are beautifully done and draw readers into the narrative. . . .The series is exceptionally well thought out and well-executed. These books will not stay on the shelf long!" - School Library Connection
