Joy Frisch-Schmoll

Joy Frisch-Schmoll has been a freelance writer of children’s books for over 10 years. She has written nonfiction books on topics such as Costa Rica, library architecture, dog breeds, painting genres, as well as science and spatial concepts.  Joy spent her childhood in Browerville, Minnesota, then studied psychology and art at the College of Saint Benedict in Saint Joseph, Minnesota. She lives in Shakopee, Minnesota, with her husband and orange tabby.
