Hair-pocalypse

by Geoff Herbach
Illustrated by Stephen Gilpin

Aidan Allen has angry hair. That's right angry hair. Hands down, he has the angriest hair anyone has ever seen. But why is his hair so angry? Why is his hair trying to ruin his life? Why is the sky blue? Two of these three questions will be answered in this comical tale of kid vs. hair.

Kirkus Reviews

"Bright illustrations depict humorous, fantastically disruptive school scenes. . . .Aidan's ultimate understanding of simple personal hygiene allows for a plausible solution to make his school day go smoothly. . . .Readers who notice his untied shoelaces will see that yet more taming is in the offing." - Kirkus Reviews

Geoff Herbach

Geoff Herbach’s young adult novels, Stupid Fast, Nothing Special, I’m With Stupid, and Fat Boy vs. The Cheerleaders, have been listed in the year’s best by many associations who seem to know what they’re talking about. Prior to writing YA, he published a literary novel, The Miracle Letters of T. Rimberg, wrote comedic radio and stage shows, and traveled the country telling weird stories in rock clubs. He teaches creative writing at Minnesota State, Mankato, and lives in a log cabin with a very tall wife named Steph.
