Start your engine! From airplanes to monster trucks, these picture puzzles will shift your brain into high gear.
"Look at the picture on the left side of the page. Now, look at the one on the right side. What has changed? Can you see the differences? How many can you find with each picture? This book is full of photographs that have been slightly modified. The book starts with easy pictures at the front and moves to more difficult pictures toward the back of the book. Some of the differences are easy to spot, like the number of screws or wires on the machine. Others are more difficult to find, such as the height of the tower in the background of the picture. The photographs in this book include a digging machine, a train, a helicopter, a monster truck, a speed shredder, a fire engine, an earth mover, a submarine, an airplane, a tundra tank, and a city builder. Each two page spread contains the name of the machine, both pictures, and the directions at the bottom of the page with the number of differences in the photographs. The end of the book contains a page with each photograph and circles where the changes have been made." - Children's Literature Comprehensive Database

"These books contain pages and pages of pictures, where you need to spot the differences in a set of two. They can be very obvious or very clever, and I have found myself stumped a time or two. My five-year-old, who is right in the age range recommended, loves them. It is a book he can do by himself, or we can race to see who can spot the differences first. We have found that these make great companions in the car also, as the only thing you really need to read is the number of differences that you are looking for in each picture. The pictures also range from Easy (6 differences), Medium (8 differences), Hard (10 differences) or Extreme (12 differences)." - Books and Needlepoint Blog
