"With informative and well-selected photos and maps and concise writing, both volumes give young readers a chance to see these significant events from the points of view of both sides. Whether being used as a supplement to a thematic unit or being enjoyed by young history buffs, both volumes will be an asset to the school library." - Library Media Connection
