Why Do I Burp?

Burps can be loud and sometimes even stinky. Everyone burps—from babies, adults, and even some animals. Take a journey into the body, following air down the esophagus to the stomach and back up again. Simple, informative text and full-page photos and diagrams help early readers understand what makes us burp and why it's important.

School Library Connection - Patricia Walsh, Educational Reviewer, Norfolk, VA

"This series about bodies and the sometimes embarrassing noises they make offers young students answers to some of their questions. . . .Each book contains simple text easy enough for an emergent reader to read independently. The photographs are bright and fun and complementary to the text. . . .To a child, these are serious questions that need answering, and the books nicely address them." - School Library Connection
