School Library Journal - Jody Kopple, Shady Hill School, Cambridge, MA

"This is a solid selection for those interested in small breed dogs. . . .The images and design are attractive, and the short, simple sentences keep things moving and interesting. After reading this series, students will have all the know-how they need to convince their caregivers that it’s time for a dog—with the knowledge of what’s right for their family, too. Considering the general popularity of dog books, this series should be in demand." - School Library Journal

Allan Morey

Allan Morey

Some of Allan Morey's favorite childhood memories are from the time he spent on a farm in Wisconsin. Everyday he saw cows, chickens, and sheep. He even had a pet pig named Pete. He developed a great appreciation of animals, big and small. Allan currently lives in St Paul with his family and dog, Ty, who keeps him company while he writes children's books.
